What do you do?

As a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property/Business Law Team, I act for many clients including developers in refinancing and lending, landlords and tenants in commercial leasehold and freehold acquisitions and sales, as well as joint ventures, partnerships, and businesses. Working closely with my Head of Department and Partners, I advise on a wide variety of transactional and commercial/land law related matters.

Having graduated with a First in Law at Queen Mary University, I completed my training contract at Huggins in 2009, and returned in 2017 after working in Central London specialising in national defense and infrastructure planning and inquiry law. In 2023, I obtained a Masters Degree in International Business and Commercial Law.

How do you make a difference for your clients?

Very few of us follow the 9-5 lifestyle anymore and that is particularly true of clients who instruct me in fast moving commercial transactions and refinancing work. As such, offering contact at times and in ways which fit in with my client’s own commitments is invaluable. With a little help from modern technology (and a good alarm clock!), I do my best to be available for them when it matters. 

Why do your clients like working with you? 

I make a point of quickly identifying my clients’ individual needs which enables me to take their matters through to successful conclusion in the most cost and time efficient way possible.

I can also speak French and Spanish which has proven to be surprisingly useful at times.
