Commercial Conveyancing Paralegal

HLF are looking for a Paralegal to join their commercial conveyancing team. This a full-time position and salary will depend on experience. The role will be client facing, so it essential that you are a confident communicator with the ability to deal with clients (sensitively and with discretion) and other staff proactively and professionally. .

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity;
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process;
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts;
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions;
  • Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements;
  • Dealing with basic queries and general administration;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications;

Qualifications and Experience: -

  • 1 year or more in residential and commercial conveyancing;
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision;
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
  • Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology;
